Meet Kenneth

Kenneth Vogel has called Clay County home for over 25 years. Kenneth's mother and father instilled a strong work ethic that has led him to be a very successful small business owner. His father worked as a licensed electrician and is a Navy Veteran. After graduating from Orange Park High School, Kenneth attended both Jacksonville University and Webster University. While attending college, he also served in the Navy as a Construction Electrician with NMCB14 stationed at NAS JAX.

Kenneth has over 20 years of construction and electrical experience and uses that experience to own and operate his own local business, Essential Electric. Being a small business owner, Kenneth understands the needs of the Town of Orange Park's business community. Kenneth also spent time working in education teaching math, science and was a school counselor. During his years in education, he met the love of his life Laura, and moved to the Town of Orange Park, where they raise their children Pearson, Carter and Lilly.

Throughout his career, Kenneth has served in many positions and boards for various organizations. He has served on leadership committees for the City of Jacksonville, and liason for district safety management. Currently he serves on a Tulsa Welding School Program Advisory Board and is a member of the Town of Orange Park Historic Preservation Board.

Kenneth is running for Seat 4 because he knows that a strong local economy and public safety are vital to the quality of life that the Town of Orange Park deserves, all while maintaining our "hometown charm."

Public Safety is Priority Number 1

Public Safety is at the core of our quality of life in the Town of Orange Park. A safe Town is a strong Town. Our first responders continually go above and beyond to help those in need. These first responders don't just serve our community, they are a part of our community. By us serving them, we can build a stronger, safer Town of Orange Park.

The Voice of Small Business

Supporting small businesses in the Town of Orange Park is crucial of fostering job opportunities and driving economic development. By choosing to shop locally and patronize small businessess, we can contribute to the growth of our Town. Together, we can make our Town vibrant and thriving by championing and encouraging the success of small businesses. I want to be small business champion on the Orange Park Town Council.

Saving our Hometown

While the Town of Orange Park may be in the heart of Clay County, there is undeniable charm and hometown values that are near and dear to each resident. The Town must continue to provide opportunities and outlets for families to seniors alike. Parks, sports, concerts and recreational opportunities are a vital part of what this Town must to continue to offer.
